Maya Angelou International Women's Health Summit

The inaugural Maya Angelou International Women's Health Summit, held September 27-29, 2012, sought to address women's healthcare needs to facilitate connectivity across the world and discussion on shared issues.

Sponsored by the Novant Health Maya Angelou Women's Health & Wellness Center, this solution-driven annual conference creates a dialogue about contemporary issues that affect the health and life experiences of women. National and international participants engage in two and one-half days of dialogue, planning and networking in response to keynote and panel presentations.
